Welcome
Founded in 1932, St. Patrick’s Missionary Society has spent more than ninety years sharing the Gospel and answering Christ’s call to mission:
“Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations; baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to observe all the commands I gave you. And know that I am with you always, yes, to the end of time.”
— Matthew 28:19–20
The Society first came to the United States in 1948 to promote awareness and support for our missionary work throughout Africa, South America, and the Caribbean. Our first American house was established in Camden Town, New Jersey. In 1968, a new house was opened in Chicago, where we continue our ministry today.
While the promotion and support of our overseas missions remain at the heart of our work, St. Patrick’s Missionary Society has also maintained a proud tradition of serving the wider Irish community in Chicago through pastoral care, spiritual guidance, and community outreach.
If you are age 70½ or older, consider supporting the St. Patrick Fathers Guid and Associates through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA.
